Unable to display message text using broadcast message feature

Hi,

As per the blog I have created a broadcast message and added the iview to framework page. I have restarted the services in NWA as well. When i check using end user id credentials, instead of showing the message , it shows the iview name as shown in screen-shot below.

Is there any other step to be done?

Hi Navya,

Open the iView and set the property "show tray" to false.

This will remove the iView title, make sure that the iView sits in the masthead container.

Hi Saar, 

I have already tried removing(hiding) the tray. On hiding the tray it shows me absolutely no message. Neither am I able to view the icon for broadcast. In user selection , I have assigned eu role which is assigned to all the users.

Hi,

As per the blog, In NWA, for service sap.com/com.sap.portal.broadcast.message.service -> I have set polling state and BCM is active to true. After this is restarted the services as well.

Is there any other setting that needs to be done?

Nope, those are the only things that should be done.

Can you open the portal in chrome and see in F12 do you have any errors in the console?

Hi navya ,

I believe you can hide framework under  hidden technical area and keep your new broadcast under masthead but uncheck property  "Show 'Remove' Option " it should look like attached pic  ,

anything else for sure authorizations

Hi Saar,

I open portal in chrome and clicked F12. In console tab, there werent any error displayed.

I am unable to see the speaker icon as well which is used for broadcast.
