Toshiba E-Studio 853 SPAD

Hi All,

I'm trying to correctly configure the above printer in SAP.  But the device type isn't listed even with the newer device types from SAP Note http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1135105

I have found the device drivers (ZTSB850) on Toshiba's website but those files are dated from 2007 and come with a document dated 2005.

Anyone know if I can use these or is one of the newer one listed suitable?

Hello Craig,

You can use SAP provided device type like SAPWIN, SWINCF. They can be used for all printers.
But only access method G or S can be used in this case.

Please check the following note:

1103826 - Printer is missing in the Device Type Selection Wizard

If the printer vendor is a gold-level member of the SAP Printer Vendor program, open a customer message on the vendor-specific component BC-CCM-PRN-PVP*. The message will then be forwarded to your printer vendor.
