Customizing check - error

Hi All,

We plan to migrate to SimpleFinance next February. We are preparing our sandbox for our first test migration and called the customizing check report ZFINS_MIG_PRECHCK_CUST_SETTNGS. The error message we are getting: "Transfer prices must not be used in CO area COGL. Migration is not possible COGL." We are using group valuation (currency type 31).The feedback from SAP on this is that parallel valuation such as transfer prices are not supported yet and could be available at the end of the year.

Did anybody have any experiences/issues like this one or can comment?

Hi Berliner,

SAP Simple Finance does not support transfer pricing and multiple valuations. Please refer to the note 2127080 - Release restrictions for SAP Simple Finance add-on 2.0.

During our recent call with SAP, they updated that they are working on it and will be available shortly. Please ensure that you dont include in your project scope or gap if this is of primary requirement.

I tried to check and analyze this issue

If I go by the code for the program, SAP explicit's comments that it only supports 10,20, 30 currency types, (May be due to changes in data base structure  / ACDOCA..not sure )

What would be available option / approach for you should be:-

1) Raise a message with SAP and discuss the best approach to handle this.

2) Evaluate the impact of changing the valuation profile / currency setting for impact.

When in the SFIN 2.0 system, you can check if this setting can be done.

From new GL. We use this already with parallel ledgers.
