Hello Experts,
I was following video tutorial series for social media analytic application by . In the last video of the tutorial
SAP HANA Academy - Live3: Java - Update HTML5 App, Deploy & Test - YouTube
which demonstrates about developing and deploying java application for updating the Twitter stream to HANA DB, I am not able to start tracking of the tweets. After I click "Start tracking" ajax call is made as mentioned in the tutorial. The response gives the message as shown below.
Could you please let me know how to resolve this issue.
Thanks and Regards,
Ashik
Hi, From the message it looks like you don't have have a Javascript enabled browser. The app was developed with Chrome. If you use IE it's needs to be at least v10. Normally Firefox and Safari should work fine. Ensure that Javascript is enabled in the browser and hasn't been turned off for some reason. Thanks, Philip

Hi,
After some investigation it appears that basic authentication (as used in the HCP destination) is no longer working for the Java app. Sounds like something changed on HCP since the videos were created. For the time being, the best workaround is to paste the URL's for the Java app directly into your web browser:
https://live3p00000000trial.hanatrial.ondemand.com/live3/?track=yourtrackvalue
https://live3p00000000trial.hanatrial.ondemand.com/live3/?stop=y
Thanks,
Philip
