Migrate Product system Data from smsy to LMDB

Dear Expert,

We have upgraded the solman from 7.01 to Solman 7.1 , Now We are in the phase of LMDB migration from SMSY , Data read from SLD to LMDB is finished.

Here most of the Product system is red in status , Only some of the product is green in status here , Once i tried Migrate Select system its given the message "Product system already exist in LMDB"

Now please let us know what we have to do in this step. How to proceed further ?

Hi Rableen,

It might be due to technical system data was pushed from SLD to LMDB before SMSY to LMDB data migration step was executed. You can verify the technical system data in LMDB. Please check the below link to migrate data from SMSY to LMDB.

Note: If you are not using any functionality apart from Maintenance optimizer, then SMSY to LMDB data Migration is not necessary.

So all the data came from sld to lmdb need to delete and start smsy to lmdb right?

Hi Rableen, Yes it can be deleted if Systems are not involved in existing Solman functionality, Actually its the normal procedure after upgrade we perform from SMSY and LMDB migration and then SLD data push from the new systems. Regards, Jaskirat Singh

Hi Rableen,

In transaction SMSY  of Solution Manager , under Landscape components -> Product Systems -> Select your system -> check the first tab Header Data.

You should see active Product versions there.

If there are no entries there , i suppose you can add them. But before adding manually try updating CR content & CIM model version as per note 1701770 .
