Dual Stack Upgrade

Hi All,

We have Netweaver 7.0 SP18 Dual Stack System in our Landscape, Kernel Version is 700 patch 305.

We are in phase of Upgrading this system and in discussion to perform split before upgrade but there might be chances when we have to upgrade dual stack system.

So can you suggest what is our latest Netweaver version which is Supported for Dual stack System.

Hi Shivam

1. Latest version Netweaver 7.4

2. Dual stack supported version NW7.3 (Without Split)

3. From the Current version NW 7.0 SP18 to either with dual stack you can upgrade NW 7.3 or Dual stack split with NW 7.4 along with kernel 7.21 or 7.22.

Dear Shivam,

Hope you are doing good.

SAP NW 7.00 servers does support dual stack. You can upgrade to version 7.00 SP 32.
SP 33 will be released next year only.

Hi Hemanth,

We will not applying only Support Package, We will be Upgrading System release.

I checked we have Business Suite 7i 2011 is last supported for Dual Stack.

Can you suggest if Business Suite 7i 2011 is NW 7.3 or NW 7.31.

Please suggest.

for netweaver 7.4 dual-stack is not supported (exception is PI system) . Earlier releases are possible.
However it is recommended to perform dual-stack split as further releases will not be supported.
