We are looking for informations for MIAUTH syncbo, that should be available from MI25.
We would like to use it in conjuction of MAM25, but we are not able to find any information.
The only info we found one link to one page to the Sap Helponline, but it's quite unusefull.
Any experience on that ?
Regards
The information you refer to already assumes the MIAUTH syncbo is already installed.
However when I install a new WebAS, no miauth syncbo is present.
Where can I find the syncbo specifications?
How can I upload/activate it?
Cheers,
Piet

To upload a synchbo you have to follow this procedure

addendum:
as for our experience the MIAUTH syncbo configuration is different.
It should point to the middleware where the syncbo is uploaded.
Othervise the smartsync syncronization doesn't work in the proper way.

Hi,
please look at http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/25/ef27b061f2fa4281a35d8404203271/content.htm
MIAUTH is a means of bringing authorization information to the MI client. It is then up to the application to actualy use it. If MAM does not make use of MIAUTH, the benefit is small ;-]
