What is PM/CS Service Notification/Order ?.

Hi Ashu,

As far as i have seen, both are two different process

PM Notification / Order is created to do the maintenance for our own company. HP produces laptop, the factory require maintenance, so this module is used.

CS Notification / Order is created for the products we have sold to others and do repair to them. Like HP sells laptop to others and HP will do repair those which is faulty.

Hi Ashu,

That comes under PM only rite.

HP sells a laptop to a customer A. Now the product is owned by A, so it will come under maintenance only rite.

Provided you have mapped the laptops and computers as equipment's to track history. Yes you can very well use the same.
