Signature required - clear button

Hi all,

Working with SAP WM 6.0, WPF client, SMP 3.0 SP4

We have set the Signature property of the transaction as required.

Minimum pixel size is 2x2

When you try to finish without entering a signature, you get no message. you are just not able to continue, because the signature does not meet the size requirements. so far, ok. (would have been nice if there was a message, though)

I draw a signature, then click clear.

I am able to finish now, even though the signature is empty!

I have a transaction validation rule: EQBOOL (signature property, 1)

Am I missing some settings here?
Is there anything we can do to influence this clear-action?

Judith,

What client platform are you using?  Sounds to me like you are doing everything correct to ensure that a valid signature is entered.

Can you try your screen on another platform and see if the results are different?  Maybe there is a client bug on your particular platform.

I tried on an iPad and Android device, but in boht cases there were issues with the certificate, so I was not able to test.

I am working on an Windows 8.1 laptop.

I opened an OSS note for this issue hoping to get some answers through there.

SAP support cannot help us, since the rest of our application is quite changed and customized.

Can anyone confirm this behaviour in a more out-of-the box SAPWM 6.0 application?

Should be fixed in release SDK SP10
