How to display messages in pop up windows?

Hello All,

I am not able to display any messages in the pop up windows. I included a message area in the pop up window, but still the messages are displaying in the main window.

Interesting observation is that when I am creating local web dynpro projects I am able to display messages in pop up windows successfully, but if I use DC's I am not able to display the messages in pop up windows.

Please do help me out if any body faced this kind of issue earlier. Thanks in advance.

Hi Seshu,

Disable the parent iviews message area before calling the child(popup) window. Then you can get the message in the child(popup) window.

According to documentation, oldest (parent) message area would be used if there are more than one windows (in a layout).
