Adding NAV to existing IOBJ which is used in other cubes ?

Hi,

Currently one IOBJ which has 10 NAV and a compounded IOBJ as well , which is being used in 20 infocube's and MP's. My requirement is to add 5 more IOBJ's to it. Will all the cube's and MP's which are currently using this IOBJ will get inactive ? Please advise alternatives.

Assuming as you want add 5 more info object or nav attributes to master data info object which has been used in 2o cubes and MPs.

It won't go inactive but may give inconsistencies.

Once you done all changes try to test RSRV test on master data info object and 20 cubes.

That may give errors if any exist.

Later rectify the error. For safe side better to reactivate the cube.MP, transformations and dtps.

To activate objects(cube,MP,transforamtions and DTP) try to use existing programs respectively.
