Hi,

May I know the exact difference between note 1305249  and 1891968 .

As far as I can see, both are referring to same issue.

Which one is preferred to implement ?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Ratnakar

Hi Ratnakar,

note 1305249 is a pilot note, which can only be implemented by the pilot customers that are assigned to this note.

Note 1891968 has the same content, but is in status "Released for Customer", which means there is no restriction.

Typically this situation can occur, if there has first been a pilot note for only few customers. Later it became obvious that the fix is relevant for all and therefore another note has been released, which can be implemented by all customers.

Therefore you should implement note 1891968.

Hi,

Thanks for this valuable info.

As I can see, changes in FORM SETUP_BAPI_TABLE_EVTCNT  is not available in 1305249 .

    READ TABLE it_eventid_map ASSIGNING <ls_eventid_map>

       WITH KEY eventid = is_event_ctab-eventid

                evtcnt  = <ls_evtcnt>.

evtcnt  = <ls_evtcnt> will be replaced by evtcnt  = <ls_evtcnt> BINARY SEARCH through 1891968 only, but not through 1305249.

Any comments on this..
