Customer value Intelligence - using CRM data

HI all,

We want to do a demo on CVI.However , we dont have SAP ECC implemented in the landscape and want to use only SAP CRM data for analysis and value calculation.

Please suggest if this is feasible and share any guide/link which may help us in achieving same.

Hi Pratyasha,

CVI has a sub-workset called "Relationship Analysis for Presales". Here, data from CRM are displayed and you can do a demo using this workset.

All the other worksets belonging to CVI (called "Insight" now) need ERP data, e.g. Relationship Analysis for Sales, Margin Decomposition, Stratification are all based on ERP data. If a company does not have ERP connected, then these worksets cannot be used.

Hi Sumita,

The margin KPI based mainly on ERP Customer
Data and not on CRM Business Partner Data.

The CRM KPIs are mostly located and
calculated by the “Relationship Analysis –PreSales”  by work set “Insight”.

CVI, or hybris Marketing Insight as it is known now, requires ERP-SD because it is based on the sale orders and pricing conditions that enable the application to do revenue, discount and margin analysis.

Usually it is pretty difficult to create that level of detailed transaction data so our existing SAP demo landscape would be more appropriate for it. Here is a link for a click through demo for CVI in Scenario 6.

Thanks for the response.

However the below link mentioned of CRM data in CVI -

Enhancements for SAP Customer Engagement Intelligence 1.1, SP03 - SAP hybris Marketing - SAP Library

and hence the question.

And one for point , how will an organization calculate CVI in case they use SAP CRM sales orders and not ERP SD.

Hi Pratyasha

If you load CRM opportunities and leads you can automatically see content in Pre-sales analysis.

However, out-of-the-box you do need the revenue posted into ERP-SD orders for CVI sales analysis.

I will get specific answer to mapping the CRM sales orders into the CVI.
