Changing the client of the SAP PO Destination

Hi,

We have a current SAP PO to ECC destination setup on SOA->Destination. How do you change the client it is pointed to?  It seems to point only to one specific client even if I change the client on the Logon Data?

Apparently i have to do the following for the changes to kick in

- re-activate the Communication Channel

- Clear the SLD Cache in Integration Directory

- Restart the communication channel

After doing the following it is now pointing to the right client.  But is there a more simpler way to do this?

is this destination related to IDOC_AAE if so i don't think, however stop and start and ping channel will help to point to correct destination.
