IllumLoginName/Password no long working in MII 15

Hello,

We recently had a system upgrade, from MII 12.x to MII 15.x. It seems the IllumLoginName/Password behavior is changed, because in MII 12.x, I can use the bellow URL without the additional Login window:

http://xxxxxxxxx:51000/XMII/CM/MHP_HI_REP/lifecycle.irpt?IllumLoginName=report_user&IllumLoginPasswo...

But int he MII 15.x, I tried to make the same URL like bellow

http://xxxxxx:50000/XMII/CM/MHP_HI_REP/lifecycle.irpt?IllumLoginName=report_user&IllumLoginPassword=...

It is unfortunately no long working, I also tried the bellow solution from SAP Programmatic Logins,and made the URL like bellow

http://xxxxxxx:50000/XMII/Illuminator/PortalLogin.jsp?target=/XMII/CM/MHP_HI_REP/lifecycle.irpt&Illu...

But still not working, I have no idea anymore how to make the URL without the login window

Hi Leon ,

This seems to be the same problem described on note 2123459 - IRPT Pages not taking the Login parameters provided in the URL.

Thanks, issue is resolved after upgrading the patch to a higher version

Hi Leon,

If form authentication login module is configured in the authentication stack try with replacing the MII specific request parameters IllumLoginPassword and IllumLoginName with j_username and j_password.
