Screen Personas Front End Editor Performance

Hi all,

I currently experience huge performance issues when editing flavours in Screen Personas 3.0 SP1.

It is very slow and my CPU is on 25% all the time.

Does anybody experience the same troubles?

Hi Andre,

Could you please provide some more details?

• Which browser are you using?
• What are you doing when the CPU utilization goes up?
• Are you experiencing this in specific transactions?

I asking because there is a known performance problem in IE11 with complex web pages (http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/2163772). Otherwise, during the drag operations the CPU will be utilized a bit more but should go down immediately when you drop a control. Other operations should not utilize the CPU significantly.

Hi,

thanks for responding.

I use Chrome 43.0 and I tried it with IE 11.0 as well as FF 38.0.

I experience it during the following actions:

• open flavor bar cpu goes up to 25% for 2 seconds
• open a flavor cpu 25 for 4-5 seconds
• drag an element 1sec/25% until I marked it, during draging arount 20 and drop 2sec/25% until it hides for some time and further 3sec/25% until it is visible afterwards

It happens to me across all transaction I edit (VA01/ME21N/MIGO/VL01 ...)

My PC is powerfull with a intel i5, which completes all other jobs perfectly.

Does anybody experience similar issues? Or has a solution to it?
