Distribution list not receiving the email alerts

Hello,

The alert configuration is correctly set up in PI. But for multiple non PI users I tried opting the Distribution List(group e mail id) as recipient.

IT team created a DL for all Non PI users at Mail server level. The Basis team created a dummy communication user in PI for maintaining the group mail id (T code:SU01).

The same user is maintained in Fixed recipients (T code:ALRTCATDEF) along with my user. When tested, I received the E mail but DL does not.

Its particularly confusing because in the email that I receive I can see that it was also sent to the Distribution List , and I can expand the list to see all of the correct email addresses. Any idea?

Hi Shikha,

In the distribution list properties, does the "Require that all senders are authenticated." have been unchecked?

If not, try to uncheck it through your IT team.
