Dear All,
Some datasource in RSA6 is showing as how can I activate them to make them ,
The issue is when I am trying to extract data in RSA3 it is giving error like, "Error Occurred during extraction".
My datasource.
I have tried activating the datasource from the main menu, from RSO2 also.
Thanks
Vijayendra
Thanks Raman for the info, I would have not found the solution without your info.
Below link has helped me to resolve the issue.
Releasing Extractors for use by the ODP API - Enterprise Information Management - SCN Wiki
From this link I found the program to release my datasource for ODP.
Program Name : RODPS_OS_EXPOSE.

Hi Vijay,
Seems like that symbol green or red is not related to data source active.
its related to ODP which comes thru BW 7.4 version. please refer note 1558737 .
Even there are two more discussions about the same here.
please search and get them.
Use search key as "Icons / Symbols within SBIW DataSource tree".
About error - Based on data source you may need to activate data source related business function at SFW5.
About business function, please check with your functional team.
Thanks
