Display FI document line item description after archiving

Dear Guru,

I have archived FI document using FI_DOCUMNT , vendor master using FI_ACCPAYB and GL master using FI_ACCOUNT . Now filled all the corresponding info structures. Now when i display FI document using FB03 the line items descriptions are not coming , is it possible to display this ?

What are the options we have to display line item description.

i think SAP is not able to retrieve the data from 2 different archives. You just tell SAP from which archive it shall read the documents, there is no dialog where you can tell from which archive it shall read the archived accounts

If you check archived documents whose G/L account is still available in the system (not archived), do you then see the description?

Hi Juergen,

If the master data is not archived ( GL or vendor) then i could see the description in this document.

Since this descriptions are not stored in BSEG table we can not retrieve.

Has anybody followed any technique to achieve this?
