Hi Experts,
I have created an Lumira Document based on a BICS connection.
When I save my document into the BI Platform it does not Refresh.
So I have to open it in Lumira Desktop to change my BW Variables but when I edit the data source and click in the button "Edit Variables" nothing happens.
Do you have any idea how to solve it?
Im using Lumira Desktop 1.27 and Lumira for BI Platform 1.27 on my BI Platform Server.
Thanks

Did you create your Variable (ZLEVEL) in your bex query right?
So every time that you click refresh in your Lumira Document does the Variable Screen appears?
Because in our environment we are using the same workflow, and when we click refresh in our Lumira Document the Variable Screen does not appear.
And when we go to "Edit data source" and click in "Edit Variables" the Variable Screen does not appear neither. We are connecting to BW through BICS connection.
What is the version of your Lumira Desktop?
Are you connecting to BW directly or through BICS connection?
Do you publish your Lumira Documents in a BI Platform or Lumira Server? Which version are those?
Thanks in advance.
Hi - yes, ZLEVEL is a variable in my BEx query, so everytime I refresh it does appear
Could you share a screen shot (use the camera icon) of your BEx query?
I'm using Lumira 1.27 using the new Download BW extension connecting to BW
I save the Lumira document to the BI Platform - on BI4.1 SP6

Hi - I don't work for SAP, I can only refer you to their published roadmap on Service Marketplace https://websmp107.sap-ag.de/~sapidb/011000358700000212382013E.pdf
Looks like it is included in planned innovations (within 12-18 months, subject to change) "Change of prompt values for server-side data refresh * "
Another option, in the mean time, is to look at Design Studio as it is an online refresh within the BI Platform
