Create contract using BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE

Hello Experts,

I want to create contract using bapi BAPI_CONTRACT_CREATE. Contract has only one item and item number is 20. When contract is created it creates with item number 10. But I want to create with 20 itself.

I passed ITEM_INTVL as X in HEADERX structure. Then it created with item number 20. But unable to open in ME33k.

Can anyone help?

what does SAP do? Sending an error message? Dump? Just nothing?
