Planning version not found

Hi ALL

When I am running CTP Heuristics and creation of fixed pegging heuristics in Background I am getting planning version not found due to which BG job is running long time .How to rectify these ?

And how to know for which material it is getting planning version not found .

Hi Jaisree,

What version you're using Active 000 or any simulation Version. Check the CTM Profile.

Check whether the version which you're using in the job is available in /sapapo/mvm.

Check the variant which you're using for your BG job. if you're using a invalid version then update the variant with a suitable/correct Version.

I am using only active version  every thing  is correct in variant .sometimes only it is getting Planning version not found.

Hi

Check no other job is running while you execute this. If there is a locking situation it might result into this. Also check KBA 1821199 for lock entries and table status.

1821199 - Background job takes long time due to liveCache lock log

You need to monitor this situation if it is not consistent but random. If already answered your question follow else raise the concern.
