Export to Excel issue when downloading other than english language

Hi Experts,

I am facing an issue while downloading internal table data into excel using attach_file_to_response.

Internal table contains text which is other than english(chinese,Japanese) langugaes.

When download, everything good but the chinese/japanese languages are coming in weird symbols.

Please help me resolve the issue.

Hey Anil,

please check the encoding of your download file. For chinese characters you should encode with codepage like 4103 or 4110 (Unicode / UTF-8)

Hi Anil,

I suspect if there is any problem in WebDynpro Application.

Please turn the language feature ON in the excel and check if it works.

Turn on Chinese language features
