STMS Issue In ChaRM

Hi Experts ,

I am stuck in problem while checking the project for charm activation.

I created a project in my solution manager . and  assigned a logical component . and created a IMG for dev system.

now i clicked check before activating charm for project .

i am getting the error

Error calculating transport track for system <SID>. See application log

No track for project Z_XXX with log. system <SID>/<client>

all stms configuration is fine and no error related to STMS

Hello Pramod,

Did you check the authorization trace on your managed systems. Check on the user which is used for the read user (for example SM_**CLNT**_READ). Use also in solar_project_admin the Refresh button in the Change Management part.

It is possible that the user have not enough authorization (Object S_TRANSPRT, value 03 and object S_SYS_RWBO, domain ' , DESTSYS:P*, Activity 03)

The need for this authorization is introduced with note 2053197.

THank you for reply ,

I gave sap_all to user SM_<sid> user which is used for read rfc and also for SMTM<SID> User.

But still no luck

I activated the charm and it created the project track automatically . after activation . the error didn't came.

Hello Pramod,

Please check and confirm that you have completed TMS configuration based on client specific.

Verify Logical component has got all the systems mentioned.

Most of the time these issues occur when Client based transport layer are not defined.

check RFC connection to DEV system.

Thank you for the rply ,

I checked

1. STMS is configured properly , All TMS rfc are working fine in all system , Consolidation route is provide from source to first target system.

2. Logical component is fine .execution check is green in manage system configuration .

every thing seems fine . dont know why this Project track error is comming .

Hello,

This type of error can be caused by slight discrepancy between the logical component in ChaRM and the TMS configuration, such as having the client-specific settings for the standard transport layer for the development system for , say, client 100, and the development system is in the logical component as client 101.

Most of the time this configuration will look fine to you, but it is not fine.

So, TMS and  logical component are not necessarily fine, and we need more detail to troubleshoot.
