Hi All,

How to identify if my integration system (SAP PI 7.0) is ready for TLS 1.1 communication through the soap channel ?

Presently we use TLS 1.0.  Our client is upgrading to TLS 1.1 and hence our integration system also needs to be able to do a TLS 1.1 communication.

How to know if the integration system is ready to connect through a soap channel with TLS 1.1 encryption ?

What action do I need to take?

In order to maintain seamless access , you need to ensure browsers and integrations connecting to client have TLS 1.1 encryption or higher enabled. If your browser or integration does not have TLS 1.1 or higher enabled after we make this change, then your users will NOT be able to access our systems. We recommend you begin planning to support the TLS 1.1 encryption protocol or higher as soon as possible.

Please see the note 2088755 Disabling SSLv3.0 in Netweaver AS Java 6.40 -7.0x (and the notes referenced within). I think this will answer your questions.
