SAP GUI 7.40 CalSync 2.0 error log after server install

Hi folks,

We are testing SAP GUI 7.40 and installed it on two Windows 7 laptops using server installation.

At the end of both installations it returned with an error log. I have attached a screenshot of the error log.

The automatic update keeps promoting that an update is available. Even if I click 'Yes' to install the update it prompts me to install an update.

The GUI will launch however.

Any ideas what the cause of this error is?

Hello Patrick,

Please try this step.

The older Calsync program needs to be relocated to new SAPwork directory for new SAPGUI 740 installation.

We really need the install logs for this.

Could you kindly zip and attach the log file from the client, preferably

  found at the following location:

%PROGRAMFILES%\SAP\SapSetup\LOGs\*
