Agentry WPF Client installation on Windows Embedded 8.1

Hallo,

we use the SMP 3.0 SDK in SP08 PL02. The WPF Client have the version 70.8.2.

We try to install the WPF Client on a Panasonic FZ-E1 device with Windows Embedded 8.1 Handheld. If we start the installation, (select on the installation file). The file explorer closed but the client do nothing. I would expect that the installation is shown in the application List but there is nothing.

Do we need some extra libraries or frameworks for windows 8.1?

Have some one installed the WPF Client on Windows Embedded 8.1 Handheld?

Andre,

Hi. I want to let you know that the Windows Embedded 8.1 is currently not supported yet for the Agentry WPF client. Please check SAP Note 1920087 - Agentry device supported operating system. This should explain the reason why it is not working.  There is a backlog feature to support it (No need to open an incident) still in the roadmap. May try again to check with SAP by Q1 2016.

The Agentry WPF client is for the desktop and to be used inside Eclipse.
