How to add field to mass Change Function in CJ20n?

Hi Gurus,

please could you kindly advise how can I add field to mass Change Function in CJ20n?

I have this field Investment Reason on the face of WBS (PRPS-IZWEK)

But I can't find it in Mass Change Options

How do I add please?

Hi Daria,

Some fields are inherited from IM ..which cannot be changed by Mass change option.

There is limitation for same.

However , Check with Abap team for enhancement if you require to change in multiple projects.

If investment reason field is updated from IM, u need to change in IM only.

otherwise, sync issue will occur later on.

As this field is grey out in ps. then it means while implementation it was decided that . change should not be possible from PS side.

Hi Daria,

Just checked it out. As Paulo pointed out, these fields are inherited from Investment Management. Even if we assign these values in Project builder, the list of available values are defined in Investment Management.

Seriously, I do not recall Investment reason to be a native WBS field, it is native to appropriation request, and must be inherited from there under normal design circumstances.

I think you need to check the process to understand where the value is assigned, directly in PS or coming from IM.  My point is that you probably should not change it in PS as it will make IM and PS out of sync, besides the field is not available as a standard WBS field.

Hi Daria,

From the second screen, choose the arrow to move the fields to left side.

Then system will pop-up a message to give the fields to be replace

Let me know whether you are able to change the values.

the point is there is NO needed field to choose and move using arrow!

The requirement is to get this field available as an option to choose from in a Mass Change Function.

Currently, it is not in a list of available fields to mass change...

Hi Daria,

If i understood correctly, you need to select the fields in CNMASS transaction, it will not give the fields automatically.
