How to set the SPRO authorization to only display mode

Hi Experts,

I need to set the SPRO transaction to only display mode. Please guide me how to do this.

I tried creating the new custom role for SPRO and added the related objects into it. But still it's not useful, As the object doesn't contain the value for display but it contains only for change.

Please find the attachement and let me know how to fix this.

Hello Narasimhan,

according to SAP Note #46546 - "Display authorization for activities in IMG":

"The S_IMG_ACTV authorization object that is available up to and including Release 4.5 cannot be used to control this authorization. It is only used at this point to allow or not to allow maintenance.

Use the S_TABU_DIS and S_TABU_CLI authorization objects to assign the relevant authorization to the user."

This Note contains some further information on fine-tuning the display authorization.

Thanks, But how to restrict overall activity in SPRO, In the mentioned thread its stating related particular project but in my scenario i need to give only display in SPRO and even i have created an Z role but still the user is able to do the changes.

Please guide me how to do this.
