SAP* does not exit

Hey SAP-Gurus,

I've been lookin into the RSUSR003 List, with the superusers.

The list says, DDIC and SAPCPIC exist, passwot not trivial which is ok.

But for SAP* it says "Does not exit. Logon not possible. See SAP Note 2383"

So far I know the message where it says, that the user "Does not exist...." where you can Login with Password "PASS".

Is it possible to create own Status Messages? Because I don't think there are spelling mistakes in SAP!

Please let me know if someone knows this message or if it's possible to create own Messages.

Thanks

Rafael

Hello Rafael,

if I look at the report RSUSR003 and its "Text elements" in SE38, then this is the text element 22 which you mean:

022  Does not exit. Logon not possible. See SAP Note 2383

It was delivered together with the report, it can be changed here, but it will be a modification of the SAP program.

Hi Alwina,

thanks for your answer!

So as it is a Standard message, what is the consequence of that? Does that mean the same as the other - that you can Login with the Password "PASS"?`

Hello Rafael,

this warning is created in this part of the report:

      IF gv_sapstar_stat = '1'.

        ps_out-pwstatus     = text_022 .

        PERFORM set_color USING   'PWSTATUS' gc_col_yellow

                          CHANGING gt_color.

As far as I understand it, this warning is created when the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar is set to '1', and this setting means "1: Automatic user SAP* is deactivated". If you do not have a SAP* user master record in SU01, you cannot login with SAP*.

Regards, Alwina
