Eauipment Task List in Maintenance plan

Hi...Experts,

At the time of creating Maintenance plan we are entering Equipment code, but the task is not automatically copied into Maintenance plan.

always we have to do  & select the task list.

Please confirm it can assign automatically or not ?

Hi Lokesh,

In case of having Multiple TL's for same Equipment, its hard to decide which group counter should be applicable in Maintenance plan.

But, as suggested by Jogeshwara, you may try this development.

I'm assuming that you want the equipment task list to be automatically copied to the maintenance item when the equipment number is entered??

If so then this is not possible in standard SAP.

As indicated by KJogeswaraRao above get your ABAP Team to check implicit enhancements in program (SAPLIWP3).

For the question 'Which counter of the Tasklist you want to be copied into the maintenance plan?' if you answer as 'I always have only one counter' , then this can be explored through implicit enhancement in the standard program (SAPLIWP3). There is no scope in standard or through any user-exit. It is a specialist ABAPer's job.

Hi Lokesh,

SAP has provision to create multiple group counters for one Equipment Task list, may be that's the reason system has restricted this functionality.

Only option is search and select the required group counter.

You can wait for others whether they have done any enhancements on this front.
