Dear Experts, I have a problem in unpaid leave on public holiday. the user requirement is they want to be paid if the employees are day off on public holiday. Such as example : employee day off from 10 to 15 but 13th to 15th are public holiday and 12th is Sunday and 11th work only half day. so it should unpaid leave only 1.5 day but in the system is unpaid leave deducted salary 4.5 days. I use public holiday class 3 and day type rule 1 . Please kindly help me. |

Hi Kunthy,
You should first focus on IT2001 records for no of absence days. If this is correct payroll will be correct. Now back to your question.
employee day off from 10 to 15 but 13th to 15th are public holiday and 12th is Sunday and 11th work only half day.
so it should unpaid leave only 1.5 day but in the system is unpaid leave deducted salary 4.5 days.
How are you recording if employee is worked half day on 11th?
Can you please answer one more question, if employee is on unpaid leave from 1 to 30th and there is holiday on 13th and 15th. Do you still want to pay for 2 days for holidays?
Do one thing, go to your counting rule for the leave, uncheck holiday class 3. It will not count.

Aj

Hi Kunthy,
Are you sure this counting rule is being called for test case. With this counting rule, it should work.
Do one more thing, if you are testing in development, delete or delimit this counting rule and check if you are getting error as "counting rule not exist"...
Check quomo of employee and counting rule is correct.
When you are creating absence, check personal work schedule on the screen of IT2001, see if holidays are reflecting there and are of class 3.
