License for Dynamic Tiering

Hello all,

Could someone clarify the process of installing license for dynamic tiering? I'm getting the following error:

SAP DBTech JDBC: [403]: internal error: Dynamic Tiering functionality is in license lock down

Hello,

Dynamic Tiering requires a separate license. This is not delivered as standard with the normal HANA license. Please get on to SAP about acquiring this license.

I have tried but found non avaliable.

We have purchased 2 TB og Dynamic Tiering Storage.

Could you guide me, on how to generate the DT license from the support portal.

Hey Ramus,

Only one SAP HANA dynamic tiering license is allowed per SAP HANA system. For dynamic tiering on a multitenant database container SAP HANA system, all tenant databases share the single license. Dynamic tiering is licensed by the amount of data stored in the extended store.

So I do not know this way but if you open a ticket with xx-ser-likey they will do this for you.

My systems don't have the option for creating a licens key for DT.

I have created a Ticket with xx-ser-likey, i will see what they have to say.

Did you find a solution for the dynamic tiering licens.

Ours runs out in a month, so any help is appreciated.
