SAP Bank - EBS - Search Strings

Hi Experts,

My client receives MT940 from bank. It provides Customer account reference number in the :86: line with a marker XY_. E.g. XY_1234567890 Here Customer number is 1234567890. I have written a search string to pick customer number from this value.

Search String XY_##########

Problem I am facing is, in the same MT940 file, for each Transaction type (E.g. 079, 364, 635), line :86: has different formats. But the Customer number is still in the same format i.e. XY_1234567890. But my search string is failing to recognize it if the format is different.

E.g.  For below line, it recognizes the Customer number.

:86:079?00COLLECTION?20/EI/106520481                          106

NICHOLAS FLAMALAO

     XY_2323446782

But for below record, it is not recognizing the Customer number.

:86:364?00CREDIT ORDER?20/EI/0027356                            D

05  221906               ?21                                    

       XY_2323449196

Since the search string starts from XY_, there should not be any issue of what characters are there before it.

Can you please help me resolve this?
