Conection to DB and Webi Sessions

Hi All,

We are on BO 4.1 SP05 with Sql Server 2008 as backend.  We have reports which take long time to run, approx. 20 to 25 mins.

Is there a way where we could kill BO sessions with Also Killing DB sessions (its IMP requirement).

Right now what we have seen is , in middle of running query , if user closes the report , query still runs in backend though report is closed.

We could you query timeout in Universe parameters but I guess it wont kill DB session.

Is there a way to kill both BO and DB session if BO report is closed?

In BI 4.1 SP6 this behavior has been improved. User gets control back after canceling a query.

Thank you Arijit for reply.

But we have just migrated toSp05. Migrating to SP06 is not currently in plate now.

Is there any workaround by which we could kill DB session?
