Hello All,
We are currently in the process of implementing GRC AC 10.1 .
We are designing workflows for New User , Change User , Removal of User access, Lock User and Unlock User
One of the requirements of my client are that they want Notifications to be sent via SMS on their cell phones.
Is it possible ? Please suggest.
Regards,
Rahul Muni

Dear Rahul,
not sure whether this is helpful... but in my previous company we had set up the Exchange server the way that he accepts mails to "sms:<number>". So rather than sending a mail to alessandro@domain.com we sent a mail to "sms:+123456789". The exchange server then handled the email and sent the body as sms. Therefore the exchange server was connected to a mobile phone and sent the mails via the phone.
Hope this gives you a hint for an alternative solution to achieve your requirement.
Regards,
Alessandro

Hello Rahul,
I checked in many customer requests and I did not find any information related to SMS. I just found what is stated in the key features of the following SAP Help pages:
SAP GRC Access Approver for iPhone - Mobile Apps in SAP Business Suite - SAP Library

Fernando

Unfortunately I have not found a way to have the notification sent as a SMS. Main method is email notifications (and most smart phones can have the email inboxes linked to the phone) or the SAP mobile App GRC Access Approver.
