Symptom
When a user runs a SELECT query in the query generator or uses the query in FMS, and the authorization "Execute Non-select SQL Statement" for this user is set to "No Authorization", the application may display the following message: "Error while connecting read-only database user; check that the read-only user is assigned to company in database".

The authorization "Execute Non-select SQL Statement" works only when a read-only user is correctly configured.
Refer to section 7.4.1. "Seeing Read-Only User Permissions" in SAP Business One 8.8 Administrator Guide for information on how to configure read-only users.
