Want to change STO Delivery creation date in shipping tab

Hi All,

Hope everyone is having fun with SAP.

Delivery creation date is determined and appearing correctly for STO.

The requirement is to modify it.

Had anyone solve such query.

PS. Please excuse answer related to ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST~PROCESS_ITEM as method set_shipping_data is not allowing me to modify certain fields including this delivery created date.

Please advise.

It is not possible to change this date. This date will be filled automatically (Read F1 help for the field). Standard system will not allow you to edit this field. Read my blog post to check the standard design

I do not see an option to modify this field as it is a result of other fields and has always been a display only field.

The calculation of this field is based on the delivery date of schedule line and planned delivery time with respect to the plant calendar. more details in Q&A 2 of OSS note 498143 - FAQ: Stock transfer with delivery in purchasing

MAybe you can explain some background to the request, there might be other options. Do you get anywhere an error, e.g. in delivery creation if you create the delivery at a different day than the expected?
