HANA unable to connect with Rserve after upgrade to SPS10

Hello,

recently we have upgraded a HANA instance from SPS8 to SPS10 (namely, 101). After upgrade, none of the R scripts used in HANA work, showing the following error message:

Unable to connect with Rserve.;None of the Rserve can be connected: x.x.x.x:30120: Cannot connect to the host with the port.

I have already double checked both HANA and Rserve settings, everything looks fine, Rserve is up and running. The most strange thing is that HANA even DOES NOT TRY to connect to Rserve (tcpdump shows no activity on port 30120 when I run the script in HANA Studio). On the other hand, other instances (SPS5 on the same machine and SPS9 on another server) continue to work with the same Rserve without any problems using the same settings. So, I guess, the problem is either in the SPS10 release or in the upgrade process.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hmm... I couldn't reproduce this after an upgrade from SPS 9 to SPS 10.

Are you sure that the indexserver is trying to use the correct network interface?

Also: is the address actually resolve-able for the SPS 10 system?
