Hello Experts,
Currently we are using NW730 portal system and i would like to know if there is any way to restrict the number of session opened by any user to 1.
so my question is how to restrict the number of browser sessions (=1) per user.
If anyone knows how to do so, please let me know.
Best regards,
Kratika
Dear Kratika,
There is a parameter called: sap.max.session.limit that you can use.You can either change this property via /nwa (as in the screenshot that you attached ) or using the telnet tool (sap note 1012065).
If you wish to terminate the sessions after a certain period of time, please see note: 842635 Session Management for Web Dynpro Applications. Although this is for 7.00 servers, you should get a good idea on the steps that are needed. Such amendments are not needed ideally.
Hope this helps.
