SSL interface between CLM and PI

Hi,

Does anyone have experience with implementing HTTPS connection between CLM and SAP PI? Please assist! We followed the steps mentioned in document "Integration of SAP SRM and SAP Sourcing.pdf" but still could not get it to work.

Note: HTTP connection works fine. Problem is with HTTPS. We are on Sourcing Version -9.0.20.00

Below are the settings in- "SRM Integrated System Config" document.

On PI system also we imported the required content and made settings as mentioned in integration document. As already mentioned, HTTP calls are working fine. Even for HTTPS we used SOAP UI to test the PI content and it worked fine as expected.  But we are receiving the below error  when we try to make the same call from CLM/Sourcing System.

Have you checked if the cluster configuration had the following set?

Hi Bindu,

Thank you for the reply. @Venkateshwara Prasad Kothapalli  has given us a work-around to pass user id/password info as parameters in the PI URL itself rather than in header. It worked.

Hi Raghu,

Can you confirm what URL and Configuration you have maintained at CLM end as we are also trying to implement the same in CLM 7.0.

Hi Tarun,

Following activity you need to perform for this:

1. set the system properties

ExportHandler.outertag.attribute.value as https://sap.com/xi/XXXX instead of http://sap.com/xi/XXX

2. Maintain the same for SRM integrated document under HTTP Export Configuration.User Id and password is optional. As mentioned by Raghu , PI user will pass the user id and PI in url to establish the connection.

3. PI configuration is require similar to HTTP

Hi Thavamohan,

Is this applicable to CLM 7.0?

Also we have maintained the "hostname" and PI's Https Port in " HTTP Export Configuration" but it was not working there and data is getting posted to that PI Port.

Could you explain the steps needed to be performed.
