GRC PC Automated Monitoring Error: Communication failure with remote system XXXCLNT010 Invalid subfield access: Offset and length too lar

Hi There,

I have created a business rule for automated monitoring but business rules ends with error while scheduling.

The error message says :"Communication Failure with remote system XXXCLNT010 Invalid subfield access : Offset and length too large"

I checked in the market place but could not able to find a SAP note to resolve this issue.

Did any one face this issue in their project?

Can anyone please put some insight on this error and provide solution for this?

Hello Amit,

In most cases, you will find a short dump regarding this error message in the plug-in system.

Also, check whether or not you can execute business rule ad-hoc query.

I suggest you to debug the query to find which field's length and offset are returning the error.
