Hi All,
is it possible in SAP IdM 8 to create own scheduling rules or modify existing scheduling rules? I didn´t any option within the SAP Identity Management Developer Studio.
Thanks a lot
Andre
Hi
Identity management offers predefined scheduling rules.
We have received configuration enhancement request for adding custom scheduling rules by some other customers.
The best would be to check the importance of this functionality by publishing an idea at Identity Management Idea place and check the vote number.

Hi Andre,
i would say that it is not recommended to modify existing scheduling rules but I managed to create one using toDatabase passes.
My requirement was to have a job triggered at 5am (CET) everyday.
So what i did is a first pass to add data in the mc_sched_rule table
and then another one in the mc_sched_item.
For the values i put, I just copied what was in another frequency rule like everyday at midnight except for sched_time which value is 10800 as it is 3h after midnight (3*60*60 seconds, my server isn't on the same timezone..)
The scheduling rule is then available with the others from the general tab of the job.
Hope that helps,
Regards,
Clotilde
