Role Sync Job is failing once/twice in a week with error - Error in RFC; 'Time limit exceeded.'

Hello Experts,

We are facing an issues with Repository object sync job which runs in full sync mode for HR connector. Role sync is getting failed once or twice in a week and as a result we are unable to find any roles for HR connector until the manual job runs successful.

In SM37, the job running status shows completed but in SLG1, only role sync shows with error but profile and user sync are successful.

Please find the below screenshots for the same.

SM37 screen:

SLG1 log for the job run on 13-07-2015.

The same job is running for ECC system connector with out any issues.

Please help me to resolve this issues.

We are on SAP GRC10.0 SP18

can you check if the backend plugin has the following note applied?

Hi Alessandro,

Thank you so much for your quick response, this note seems to fix my issue.

Plugin on our HR system is of SP13 but on ERP it is of SP18 hence we are not getting any issues for ERP connector.

We will apply the note and let you know.
