DMO not reading SSFS setting

Hello Experts  ,

We are migrating our BW701 on Oracle/11.2.0.4 system to BW740 on HANA using DMO and during extraction DMO prompted us about the SSFS connectivity and after which we configured it in our BW system.

r3trans.log and developer trace shows the successful connectivity as per the note 1639578 which suggest that SSFS is working fine.

developer trace :

con_info_ext_support(): DBSL supports extended connect protocol

==> connect info for default DB will be read from ssfs

trans.log :

However , DMO is still thorwing the error and below is the content from DBCONNCHK.LOG :

Thanks

Dev

Hi Devpriy,

as you have mentioned you have migrated to SSFS recently. And from trans.log it say the .key file is not available. Can you try to put the password again using below command.

rsecssfx put DB_CONNECT/DEFAULT_DB_USER SAPSR3 -plain

rsecssfx put DB_CONNECT/DEFAULT_DB_PASSWORD *****

And try again.

Also if this doesnot work you may need to clean-up the earlier created files both the .dat & .keys and regenerate them again.

Also do check for the below parameter in your profile:-

rsdb/ssfs_connect = 1

Let us know if you need any further help.

Regards,

Ram

Hello All,

We killed SAPup and started the tool again which could catch up the SSFS change.

Thanks
