Has any one ever implemented the following Badi? MD_Change_MRP_Data

In ECC 6.0 , we are experiencing issues where MRP runs and sees "false" inspection lots.  This is causing major issues when attempting to order parts/materials. 

The inventory that was associated with the Lots have been fully/100% consumed.   The Lots were not correctly processed & this we know has to be addressed.

Right now, we need to have MRP disregard/ignore certain inspection lots and was considering implementing the above mentioned Badi.

Does anyone know SAP's position/stance regarding the use of this Badi?

Are there any concerns/risks surrounding this Badi?

We have used this BADI while QM Implementation for considering the QM Inspection Lots stock details in MD04, MD05. (Screenshot F Y I ).

On your query: False Insp.Lots were not appeared in our case & Once the Lot is cleared/Inspected - Qty is appeared correctly aftering implementing the BADI.

I have not used it.

I would focus on the root cause however and get the inspection lots fixed rather than write someting custom to avoid them.  It will just encourage action to be delayed on resolving the real issue.  It's just putting band-aid on it.  But you know that!  🙂
