ADS: SOAP Runtime Exception occurs sometimes

Former Member

Dear experts,

We want to print a form of the module PP via the Transaction PK13N. In some cases the above error occurs, but on some materials the form gets printed. Do you have an idea why it is not always working?

I testet succesfully the reports FP_PDF_TEST_00 and FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE from the SAP-note 944221.

Error details:

ADS: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport :(100101)

Meldungsnr. FPRUNX001

Kind regards,

Benjamin

Hi Benjamin,

the error you get can have several root causes.

Based on your descripation I suspect
1.) either too much data to display and ADS cannot handle it or
2.) any error in the data (e.g. corrupt character, or string instead of number, ...)

To get more (detailed) info about the error itself the defaultTrace on the ADS server should be checked first.
If you reproduce the error than first check out the latest trace in:
/usr/sap///j2ee/cluster/serverX/log/defaultTrace*.trc

Hi Istvan,

Thanks for the hint with too much data to display. There were actually a table with a million data sets.

Best regards,

Benjamin

Benjamin,

Have tested FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE in SE38 for ADS.

If not check and post the result.

Here we are trying to avoid Java stack upgrade from adobe document services are running.

Hi Anand,

I tested this and it returns 6.903 Bytes transferred. So this check works.

Benjamin,

AS you said all the tests went successful,

I believe you have checked this point also?

Then check following SAP note :-

1587941 - ADS does not respond or error "CSoapExceptionTransport.."

Dear Anand,

The note is already known.

The most interesting thing is, that the creation of the form works with another material.

Kind regards,

Benjamin
