Hi Experts,
We used to be on 7.9 where suppliers log in to DMZ portal, from there we have a link pointing to SAP Sourcing Fsvendor side. Once suppliers are in DMZ portal and click the link, he/she will be logged in to Sourcing vendor side.
For directory configuration we are using NetWeaver UME direcotry. Configuration as follows:
We recently upgraded to V10 and all configuration remains the same, however, after suppliers log in to DMZ portal and clicks the Sourcing FSvendor link, it gives us an Directory Error page.
Can anyone shed some light on what is wrong/missing here? Many thanks.
Hello Daniel,
To check for the 'real' error you need to go to Sourcing Logs. In the exception message from the log you will also see the exception generated by UME, not only the generic 'Directory Error'. It will provide a clear image of what is the actual problem.
We faced a similar problem after migration, in our case it was related to the length of the username (migrated users were not created in UME because of this, and the generic Directory Error was displayed when trying to create the directory account).

Hello Daniel,
It looks to be a directory configuration error.
If this worked before in V9 then there's a possibility of a migration issue. Check your configuration properties an try to see if you can spot any issues there.
I'm not an expert in UME so I would suggest opening a ticket with SAP OSS.
