Awaiting approval document changed - new Workflow created

Hello,

We are using process controlled workflow.

- Contract C is released.

- User A changes the contract: Version C1 is created., an approval workflow is created and the contract is in status awaiting approval.

- User B changes the same contract which is in awaiting approval: in BBP_PD, a new version is created but with C1 and a new workflow is created.

I tried to invetigate but i can't find why such behavior occurs. Normally since the version C1 is not yet closed,there should no new workflow created,no?

Currently the approver is getting 2 approval workitems for the same contract which is not correct i think.

Hello Hazem,

Are you using SRM 5? If so then it's possible that note 1382384 - missing popup "version of the contract is in approval" can fix this for you. If this note applies to your situation please implement it and retest. If that doesn't help or if the note doesn't apply to your situation please let us know so we can continue helping you.
