I'm new to solution manager. I don't know even basics also. Will you please suggest some documents or books regarding SOLMAN.

Have you read this book? It has a lot of great information about Solution Manager. Not so technical but for overview it is the best.

The official configuration documents for many Solution Manager areas have been moved to the SCN Wiki. The service.sap.com main pages for the different areas don't exist any longer, and have been moved to the SCN Wiki.

For configuration purposes, some of the documents there are more indicated than the help.sap.com.
